About CCDSIG

About Our Organization

The Chester County Down Syndrome Interest Group (CCDSIG) is a nonprofit organization that began in 1998 with a group of parents who wanted to meet for social contact and support. We are students, we are lawyers, we are teachers, we are scientists, we are tradesmen, we are bankers, we are homemakers, we are doctors; we are all people whose lives have been touched by Down syndrome. Our goals include reaching out to new families, providing educational and social opportunities for our existing members, and educating the community in order to promote awareness and inclusion of persons with Down syndrome.

If you make this new journey with friends, you too will see the “upside” of Down syndrome. Please call us at (610) 889-0291 or email us at ccdsig@ccdsig.org for more information.
